9ice Sacks Manager, Dehinde Fajana

Barely a month after Abolore ‘9ice’ Akande staged Bashorun Gaa & Versus Concert in Lagos, the singer and his long time manager, Dehinde Fajana have parted . We learnt that 9ice reportedly dispensed Fajana’s service.Though reasons for the severance of almost five years working relationship between 9ice and Fajana is yet unknown as the typically reclusive singer has refused to make any comment over the recent development. Before now, 9ice estranged wife, Toni Payne is said to have always fingered Fajana as the agent provocateur, citing his alleged overbearing influence on 9ice’s life and affairs. In recent times, sources rumour that 9ice and Toni Payne are planning a comeback, hence, renting an apartment for her. We learnt that 9ice visit to the apartment had become even more frequent fuelling speculations that the entire story about the couple is nothing but the truth. Those in the know had hinted that if they reconcile , Fajana would have to leave as Toni Payne had sworn never to have anything to do with him again. When contacted, our sources hinted that Fajana refused to comment saying 9ice was still his brother and friend irrespective of any prevailing differences they might have. Meanwhile, Toni Payne revealed that she doesn’t know anything about the whole story but an insider disclosed that 9ice actually sacked Fajana when he started lamenting frequently on some issues.
